Facial Pigmentation Lesions

We understand that facial pigmentation can cause a number of issues from an aesthetic standpoint. This is why, at Bella Lisa Laser, we sought to find the laser technology that can resolve these concerns to help our clients feel beautiful again. We use the GentleMax Pro, by Syneron Candela to resolve facial pigmentation lesions.

Facial pigmentation lesions occur when certain cells on our skin, called melanocytes are damaged over time, it affects the amount of melanin produced. Melanin is the pigment responsible for skin colour. When the melanin our cells produce is affected, it can cause a variety of pigmentation issues.

One commonly seen issue is pigmented lesions, or pigmented spots, which appear on the surface of the skin. This can include, but not limited to: freckles, melasma, sun spots, and even birthmarks.

The GentleMax Pro uses laser technology, and specifically dual wavelengths, which penetrates into the epidermal skin layer and reaches targeted cells. Once done these cells are heated, it absorbs the thermal energy produced in the area. This allows for pigmented lesions in the targeted tissue cells to be destroyed. The result leaves smoother, less pigmented skin and a much clearer complexion.
